The national mandatory combustion performance classification divides the combustion performance of the product into A, B1, B2 and B3. According to the flame spread characteristics, heat release characteristics and smoke production characteristics of the cable combustion, as well as the influence of the cable combustion on the surrounding environment (namely corrosion) and the interaction of the combustion droplet causing the fire of the surrounding environment, This paper comprehensively and objectively reflects the fire risk of cables under actual fire conditions, and better distinguishes the combustion performance of cables with different materials. In order to prevent the spread of fire, power cables with different combustion performance levels should be selected according to the use nature of the building and the difficulty of fighting fire when the design institute is designing and selecting cables.

Execution standard: GB/T 31247
