On 5 June, the 2025 Employee Skills Competition was grandly held at the Southern Flame Retardant Electrical Equipment Industrial Park. After multiple rounds of preliminary selection, 27 elite contestants from departments such as production, quality inspection, and technology emerged as finalists. They competed fiercely in both theoretical examinations and practical competitions, ultimately resulting in 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, and 6 third prizes. This fully demonstrated the professional competence and craftsmanship of Southern Flame Retardant's frontline employees.
Themed ‘Precision Engineering Ensures Safety, Innovation Drives Development,’ the competition featured two assessment modules centred on core production processes: a theoretical written exam focused on safety production regulations to comprehensively evaluate participants' knowledge, and a practical skills competition set in a crane operation scenario, requiring participants to complete high-precision lifting, obstacle avoidance, and emergency braking tasks within a time limit, simulating high-difficulty operations in real production environments.
On the competition field, participants tackled challenges with skilled techniques and a composed mindset. In the crane operation segment, He Xiaozhou from the fire-resistant production workshop secured the championship with flawless precision control, earning unanimous praise from judges for his operational fluency and emergency response capabilities.
