On July 1, the Counselor of the Embassy of Zambia in China Kalaluka and his delegation paid a special visit to Chongqing South Flameproof Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. to visit the enterprise production workshop and intelligent manufacturing production line, conduct in-depth research on the whole series of wire and cable products, and provide high-quality supply chain resources for the local infrastructure project in Zambia. The relevant responsible person of the enterprise accompanied the reception in the whole process.
Kalaluka and his party first went into the intelligent production workshop in Banan District to check the whole production line of core products such as crosslinked power cables, mineral insulated fireproof cables, low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cables one by one, observe the operation process of full-automatic stranding machine, high-precision insulation extrusion equipment and online quality detection system in a short distance, and inquire the technical parameters, fire ratings, capacity scale and delivery periods of different types of cables in detail. During the visit, he spoke highly of the whole process digital management and control system of the workshop, strict ex-factory inspection standards and the products have been certified by the European Union (EU) CE. He has repeatedly asked about the special cable customization scheme suitable for tropical climate in Africa.
In the subsequent product exhibition area, the enterprise principal introduced the product matrix of South Flame Retardant as a national high-tech enterprise to Kalaluka in detail, focusing on a variety of high-stability cable products suitable for power transmission, mining area development and municipal infrastructure in Zambia, and the mature service experience of the enterprise in the field of import and export of goods. Kalaluka said that, in recent years, Zambia is accelerating the promotion of national power grid upgrading and infrastructure construction, and has a strong demand for high-quality wires and cables. The performance of flame retardant products in the south fully matches the local project standards. Later, the two sides will promote the establishment of normalized docking channels, assist enterprises to participate in the bidding of infrastructure projects in Zambia, and build a new bridge for the cooperation of manufacturing industry in China and Africa.
This foreign-related investigation laid an important foundation for the development of African market by southern flame retardant, and enterprises will take this as an opportunity to launch customized cable products suitable for tropical environment, contributing to Chongqing manufacturing power for the power interconnection between China and Africa.
